Mental Health Kokua provides Intensive Outpatient Services
Safe Haven-Honolulu & Activity Center-Maui Population Served MHK's Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP) is dedicated to homeless adults with mental illness, having a co-occurring disability of drug/alcohol dependency. About 85% of homeless adults with mental illness served have a chemical dependency, which is often the result of self-medicating. After treatment with Safe Haven housing, psychiatry, and IOP a majority of participants stop using drug/alcohol. Market St. Honolulu, HI 96814 Wailuku, HI 96793 Hours of Service Monday: 8:30am - 4:00pm Tuesday: 9:00am - 4:00pm Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:00pm Thursday: 9:00am - 4:00pm Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm Saturday: Closed Sunday: Closed Frequency of Services Services are provided at least 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. Payer Sources MHK accepts all local health plan insurers. Fees Since most homeless adults with mental illness have no income, MHK provides the services with no fees, or co-pays.
